Grenade Micro Bud Vase
An iconic snapshot captured the spirit of the '60s peace movement: a young protester placing flowers into the barrels of the guns being leveled at him. These unique bud vases evoke that peace-loving spirit. The mold for the base was made using an actual WWII-era grenade, and the stoneware is then finished with sweet, pastel acrylics. A slender glass tube rests in the top, allowing you to display small bursts of floral fireworks. The vase is the creation of artist Toby Atticus Fraley, whose work often uses artifacts of popular culture in playful new contexts. Made in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
